A business website has a few jobs: explain what you do, load quickly on a phone, show up in search and turn visitors into enquiries. Most slow sites I see are slow because of page builders and themes that load everything on every page.
I build on WordPress with custom block themes, so your team edits pages in the normal WordPress editor, or on Next.js when the site behaves more like an application or sits in front of a headless store. This site is one of mine: a block theme with no page builder, plus the free tools under Tools.
What I can help with
- Company and product websites. Planned around your content, with the pages and calls to action you actually need.
- Custom WordPress block themes. Built with the site editor and theme.json, so colours, type and spacing stay consistent and editing is safe.
- Custom plugins. Content types, forms, integrations and tools, kept in a plugin so your content survives a future redesign.
- Next.js front ends. For headless commerce, or sites that need app-like behaviour.
- Speed and SEO basics. Fast pages on mobile, clean markup, structured data and sitemaps from the start.
- Rebuilds of slow sites. Moving off a page builder while keeping your existing URLs, so search rankings are not lost.

Questions
Can my team edit the site?
Yes. Text, images, pages and blog posts are edited in WordPress as usual. The design is built into the theme, so everyday edits do not break the layout.
Will we lose search rankings if you rebuild our site?
Not if the move is planned. I keep existing URLs wherever possible, redirect the ones that change, and check Search Console after launch for anything missed.
