Magento has been most of my working life for six years. I have built and looked after Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce stores for jewellery, fashion, beauty, automotive and B2B brands, and I hold both Adobe Commerce Developer certifications, Professional and Expert.
Most projects start with something specific: a feature the store needs, pages that are too slow, an upgrade that keeps being put off, or a bug nobody can pin down. I work in your codebase, test on staging before anything goes live, and follow Magento’s coding standards, so another developer can pick the work up later.
What I can help with
- Custom modules. I have built a wide range of them, including store locators, engraving options, loyalty programs, order routing, partial payments, SMS OTP login and store pickup.
- Hyvä themes and Luma migrations. A lighter front end that ships far less JavaScript, with the features your store already has carried across.
- Performance work. Full-page cache, Varnish and Redis tuning, slow database queries, and refactoring the code that holds pages back.
- Inventory and fulfilment. Multi-Source Inventory, stock across several warehouses, and rules for which location ships each order.
- Marketplaces. Multi-vendor stores on Webkul Marketplace, customised around how your sellers work.
- Search. Algolia indexing, filters, facets and ranking for large catalogs.
- Checkout and payments. Checkout changes, payment gateway integrations, and split or partial payments for high-value orders.
- Upgrades, audits and fixes. Version upgrades, reviews of existing custom code, security hardening and production incidents.

Questions
Can you take over a store another developer built?
Yes. Most of my work has been on existing stores. I look through the custom modules and theme first, so the quote reflects what is really in the code.
Should we move to Hyvä?
If speed is holding the store back, usually yes: Hyvä removes most of Luma’s JavaScript. If your store relies on many extensions without Hyvä support, the move costs more, and I will tell you that before you commit.
Which versions do you work with?
Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce, including upgrades between 2.4 releases. The Version Compatibility Lookup shows the PHP, database and search versions each release needs.
