How to use it
Pick the format, quality and largest size, then drop your images in. Each one is compressed on your device; download them one by one or all together as a zip.
Questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. They are compressed in your browser and never leave your device, which also makes the tool fast for large batches.
Which format should I use?
WebP is usually much smaller than JPEG at the same quality and every current browser shows it. Use JPEG where an older system needs it, and PNG for graphics that need sharp edges or transparency without loss.
What size should product images be?
Most themes never show images wider than about 1,920 pixels, so resizing larger photos to that saves a lot. Check the largest size your store theme uses.
Why is my file larger after compressing?
Some images are already well compressed. Try a lower quality, a smaller size or a different format, or keep the original.
